DANIEL XAVIER

Natural de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, pratica Tiro com Arco desde os 11 anos de idade acompanhando seu pai José Maurício Xavier, também um grande atleta da modalidade. Compete nacionalmente pelo Pampulha Iate Clube e faz parte da Seleção Brasileira de Tiro com Arco desde 2002. 

 

Pentacampeão Brasileiro, medalhista Pan Americano de Toronto 2015, representante Olímpico nos Jogos de Londres 2012 e Rio 2016, bem como suplente nas Olimpíadas de 2008, o atleta se mantém há mais de 10 anos na elite do esporte nacional e mundial. 

 

Born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, he began shooting at just 11 years old, accompanied by his father José Maurício Xavier, also a great athlete of archery. Competes nationally representing the Pampulha Iate Clube and is part of the Brazilian National Archery Team since 2002.

Five time Champion in the Brazilian National Championship, medalist in the Pan-American Games of Toronto 2015, Olympic representative in the Games of London 2012 and Rio 2016, as well as alternate for the 2008 Olympics, the athlete has maintain himself for over 10 years in the national and worldwide elite of the sport.
