FORÇA AÉREA BRASILEIRA
O atleta Daniel Rezende Xavier faz parte do programa de Atletas de Alto Rendimento financiado pelo Ministério da Defesa desde sua primeira turma em 2014. Como atleta militar da Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB), sob a patente de 3o Sargento, Daniel Xavier tem o compromisso de representar o Brasil e as Forças Armadas por meio do esporte em competições militares.
Sua melhor marca como sargento-atleta foi o 4o Lugar Geral Individual categoria Recurvo Masculino nos Jogos Mundiais Militares de 2015 na Coréia. Destacou-se ainda por sua atuação como medalhista Pan-Americano de Toronto 2015 e representante olímpico nos Jogos do Rio 2016, pelas quais recebeu, respectivamente, a medalha Mérito Desportivo Militar e a medalha Bartolomeu de Gusmão.
The athlete Daniel Rezende Xavier is a part of an elite training program sponsored by Brazilian`s Ministry of Defense since it`s first class in 2014. As a military athlete in Brazil`s Air Force, under the rank of 3rd Sergeant, Daniel Xavier is committed to represent Brazil and The Armed Forces through sport in military competitions.
His best performance as an sergeant-athlete was 4th place in the Individual Overall category Recurve Men in the Military World Games of 2015 in Korea. The athlete also exceeded himself in his performance as a medalist in the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games and as representative in the Rio 2016 Olympics, for which he has received, respectively, the Mérito Desportivo Militar and the Bartolomeu de Gusmão Medals.
